Vīrya
Is cabin fever setting in? Are those lockdown calories beginning to pile up? Then it is time to take back control from your own living room, garage or garden. Vīrya is a mixed strength and cardio, total body - arms, legs, core - online workout comprising 37 exercises for 37 minutes, non-stop. Plus a warm-up and cool down either side, all professionally programmed. Commit to the workout and you are sure to get the heart thumping, blood pumping and the calories torched. No equipment is required, but everybody has two tins of beans and something heavy (a 4 pint milk container, laundry detergent bottle, a large rock from the garden, a child). Dumbbells, kettlebells and mats would be ideal if you have them, but are not necessary. The Pilates Channel Don't let coronavirus and self-isolation keep you from getting and staying fit, healthy and active. As indoor group exercise sessions are no longer available, The Pilates Channel provides an opportunity to work out online from your own home. No equipment is needed. A mat may be helpful for various reasons, but it is not essential. The classes are targeted at beginner-intermediate level, but with progressions and regressions available to ensure that everybody can get what they want from the workout, taking into account any physical limitations they may have. The Pilates Channel also provides feedback and support for all questions and discussion relating to the workouts. Vīrya and The Pilates Channel are pre-recorded workouts available for purchase with permanent access. This is so that you can choose when you want to do the workout according to your own timetable and commitments, wherever you want, as many times as you like. An individual workout costs £5. Or commit to get fit and buy five (£25), get one free. The workout link will be emailed directly to you following receipt of payment. Use the contact form to enquire and purchase. |
"I was worried it would not have quite the same feel and that I would just forget to do them. This has not happened! The online class is still great. Olly talks through each exercise making it easy to follow, keeps a good flow going and manages to correct my posture even though he can't see me. It's impressive." Ruth |
